Fleet Assistant

Job Description: City And Rural Rides is accepting applications for the position of Fleet Assistant to work out of Brown county. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Entry level wage will vary dependent upon experience. Time and ½ will be paid for hours worked over 40 per week, benefits include Health, Dental, Vision insurance, retirement, discretionary, vacation, and sick leave, and holiday pay. High school or GED equivalent Must have or be willing to obtain a valid Commercial Driver’s License, Class B with Passenger endorsement Must be willing to obtain defensive driving certification, and a cpr/first aid certification No BACs, DUIs, DWIs or license suspensions for moving violations in the past 7 years No major preventable accidents within the past year No reckless driving convictions in the last year in a personal or commercial vehicle Able to pass a DOT physical and drug test Knowledge of driving safety rules and regulations required. Good communication, organization and multitasking skills required. Detail oriented, able to use/learn computer systems and/or hand held electronic communication systems General Maintenance Skills Attend training out of area on specific vehicle maintenance Position will be housed at Early, Texas The position will be full time (approximately 40 hours per week).
